About the Committee

Electing Republicans at Every Level

The purpose of the Fairfax Republican Party is to promote Republican values to our members and throughout our community, and to support Republican candidates in their election campaigns.

What We Believe

The Republican Party of Virginia Creed

We Believe:

  • That the free enterprise system is the most productive supplier of human needs and economic justice.
  • That all individuals are entitled to equal rights, justice, and opportunities and should assume their responsibilities as citizens in a free society.
  • That fiscal responsibility and budgetary restraints must be exercised at all levels of government.
  • That peace is best preserved through a strong national defense.
  • That faith in God, as recognized by our Founding Fathers is essential to the moral fiber of the Nation.

How We're Organized

Our Structure

  • Executive Committee — Chair, Vice Chairs, Secretary, and Treasurer.
  • Nine Magisterial District Chairs — one for each of the county's districts.
  • Precinct Captains — the committee's presence in every precinct.
  • Standing and Special Committees — working groups for finance, candidate recruitment, communications, technology, events, and voter registration.

The committee meets quarterly on weeknights, typically 7–9 PM, rotating locations across central Fairfax County. The date and location of each meeting is announced at least ten days in advance — by mailed postcard and email, and posted on the committee's website, Facebook page, and X account.

Get involved through canvassing, phone banking, voter registration, and event coordination — volunteer online or email volunteer@fairfaxgop.org. Members can also sharpen their skills through candidate, fundraising, grassroots-organizing, and communications training offered by the Leadership Institute.
